The Packt Platform
Packt is rebuilding publishing around a single idea: content should be liquid. A manuscript that arrives once should be able to flow into an ebook, an audiobook, a course, a newsletter, a set of YouTube shorts, or an answer given by an AI assistant — without anyone re-keying it, and without losing track of who wrote it or what may be done with it.
To make that work, the platform stores all content once in the Content Lake, attaches the Contract that governs it, enriches it with a shared Knowledge Graph, and records every transformation as an immutable Activity. From that single, rights-aware estate it produces Products and ships them to Channels. Two principles run through everything: attribution — every piece of content traces back to its author, so authors keep a reason to publish — and contractual alignment — rights are enforced by the platform itself, so anyone using the content can be confident about how they are allowed to.
This site explains the platform for the people who work with it: editorial, rights, product, and partnerships teams at Packt, as well as third-party integrators and the no-code and AI tools you might point at it. Start with the big picture, explore it visually, or jump straight to the area you need.
